Orange Coast College Has A New Smell To It

Orange Coast College has a new smell to it. That is because of the corpse flower which it now has in its possession. The flower is expected to bloom any day now. Once the flower blooms, it will give off a corpse like smell, hence the name. This plant is part of the Amorphophallus family, and this plant has already taken much of the season to bloom. In fact, the corpse flower resided in the hall of several different colleges in California before finding its way to Orange Coast College.

People from all over the world are expected to get a look at this flower. Once the flower blooms, the school will open its doors to the public from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. five days a week. The school is requesting a small donation under $5 from all individuals who come to see the flower. All of these proceeds will go towards helping the school improve their building and their technology.

Orange Coast College is located in Southern California. With 30,000 students enrolling each semester, Orange Coast College is the largest community college in the United States. The school is known for helping students get into world renown colleges like U.C.L.A. and U.S.C. All students who attend Orange Coast College are pushed to the max to achieve more than they can imagine.

This school offers traditional subjects as well unique subjects that could only be found in trade schools. Considering the location, Orange Coast College will soon be offering classes in the arts, particularly in the film and music industries.

Orange Coast College is also known for their athletic side. Where most community colleges do not even have a basketball team, Orange Coast College has a football team, basketball team, track, volleyball, and more. All students are welcomed and encouraged to apply to one of the sports teams.
